Depending on location you’ll hike through the incredibly diverse and beautiful Santa Cruz forest with an expert local foraging guide, learning the ancient ways of harvesting wild food and medicine. Discover sustainable harvesting techniques, wild food/medicine preparation while sampling plants real-time.

ITINERARY & WHAT TO EXPECT
Upon registration you’ll receive an email with designated meeting location and time. At the trailhead you’ll meet your guide and take a walk at a very moderate pace through beautiful ecosystems. We rotate location depending on the season and never hike more than ~2 miles, often less. Trails sometimes have hills (nothing too steep. If you have a moderate level of fitness and an open mind, you’ll do great!)
